• Proactively engage potential clients and manage the sales pipeline with the goal of closing the sale.
  • Onboard new clients.
  • Support the Directors and other sales and marketing staff of the company w.r.t. client quoting and on-boarding.
  • Administrative and onboarding support of Qualified Marketing Leads (“QMLs”) generated through the sales and marketing strategy.
  • Manage the administrative aspects of the sales pipeline.
  • Ensure compliance requirements (inducing FICA, KYC etc) are adhered to through the client onboarding process.
  • Drafting, editing, and providing new clients proposals and/or other related documents.
  • Manage sales pipeline information.
  • Use the PEFO system, and other platforms through the sales and onboarding process.
  • Represent Invequity as a director on Tradecos, SPVs and other entities, where required.
  • Administratively support the Client Support team and other lead generators
  • Operational and administrative support of firm’s executives
  • Support and develop relationships with existing and new Strategic Partners



  • BCom or other Commerce and / or Marketing related degree


  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a business development role, with a focus on direct sales.
  • Marketing experience would be preferred.
  • Experience with lead qualification at all levels within organizations - managers, directors, executives.

  • Ability to represent organisation in a professional and confident manner.
  • Be able to present comfortably to larger groups, and audiences including Boards of Directors
  • Excellent sales strategy skills with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent prospecting (cold calling) skills, networking, persuasion, negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral (including presentations).
  • Excellent project management and customer relations skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and solve problems.
  • A combination of private small business and corporate sales experience would be preferred.
  • Experience in generating and analyzing data and reports.

  • B-BBEE knowledge base an advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of business development, sales & marketing strategies, and brand expansion.


  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Highly numerate with strong ability in financial analysis, forecasting, project costing, and preparing and monitoring budgets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • IT and information systems advantageous
  • Proven track record of working with rapidly changing deadlines and having an ability to move in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer database management.
